Feeling a little empty

So if you are a long time reader of the blog you might have noticed that I've had Triumph of the Moon listed as a book am 'Currently Reading' for a really long time. They could be a few reasons for it being up so long; the tiny font, the large words, or maybe the style of writing. All of those are accurate in their own way. The real reason for time it took is that I've been reading it for about 2 hours a week with a group of like mind people. In fact we've been doing this for almost two years roughly twice a month. Thanks to Ronald Hutton, we have had some amazing discussions, pushed and pulled some wonderful ideas, and finally eaten some Hamburger made from long held Myths about Wicca.

It's been a wonderful read and I would encourage any of you who read my blog to take the time and effort it can take to read the book. It isn't an easy read but it is worth it. A quick tip to someone trying to read anything by Hutton, listen to his lectures on Druidcast first. Once you've done that you'll hear his voice as you read and get more of the dry British wit he includes in his writing.

So now am off to move that link to 'Recently Finished' heading. Take a minute and click on it maybe even order it from Amazon.com you won't regret the decision, and you will certainly learn more about where many of your pagan practices come from. All in all the book left me with a deep fascination with and stronger desire to learn more about the more traditional Wicca.
